MANUFACTURERS SERVICE, INC was founded in 1995 by S.A. Thompson and M.R. Clark. The company was established in response to favorable market conditions in the industrial maintenance and installation sector, aiming to serve the growing demand for maintenance solutions in the southeastern United States.

Throughout the early years, the main operating goal of the company was to provide high-quality maintenance and installation services to manufacturing industries, focusing on electrical systems, machinery, and HVAC systems. This service line continues to be one of our main focuses, alongside a diversified portfolio of services across various industries.

The most exciting period in our company's history began in 2005. The business was sold to the current president and vice president, David Johnson and Brian Williams, respectively. This change in ownership introduced new strategies and a fresh vision for growth. The new leadership saw opportunities not only within the industrial maintenance sector but also in other related markets. The first major milestone during this time was the expansion of our facility to include a larger warehouse dedicated to shipping, receiving, and inventory storage. A second major upgrade involved the installation of a new recycling system for scrap materials and oils used in our processes.

The 2010s saw significant growth in our service departments, particularly in industrial machinery maintenance and HVAC systems. In 2012, the company obtained ISO certification for its quality management system, which allowed us to diversify our customer base and provide world-class quality assurance. We continue to be ISO certified with over 10 consecutive years of certification.

Several growth opportunities were explored under new ownership, starting with the expansion of services for existing customers. This included adding specialized equipment and new teams for large-scale installations. Thomas Roberts, a seasoned expert in electrical systems, was brought in as a partner to manage this area. The second major expansion was into the installation of advanced automation systems for manufacturing plants. Both of these initiatives have been highly successful, making us a trusted partner in the industries we serve.

One thing that has remained constant since our founding is our commitment to quality and customer service. We have adhered to our guiding principle of "Meeting or exceeding our customer's needs by continuously improving our quality system."
